Although operating in male dominant research area, information and communication technologies, Pupin has got almost perfect gender balance (with more than 40% female researcher, one of them occupying the highest research post – Scientific director). Pupin has already taken part in one FP6 project dealing with gender issues (PROEMETEA) and is currently involved in similar FP7 project (HELENA). Being and ICT institute, Pupin undertakes all task regarding the IT support to the project (Web portal, data-bases, e-collaboration tool, polling tools, etc.), but also takes an active part in gender related research issues and information acquisition at the national and regional level.
