GenderTime Toolbox is one of the results of the GenderTime project. It provides a Set of tools developed within the GenderTime project for implementing and monitoring future Gender Equality Action Plans in institutions interested in similar approaches, as well as good practices that give examples of implementation achievements and implementation activities that GenderTime partners have carried out at their institutions in the scope of the project. ECEPIE team at the Global Conference of Engineering Education EDUCON 2014 in Istanbul, 3-5 April 2014
André Béraud from ECEPIE team, presented the GenderTIME project at EDUCON 2014, Global Conference on Engineering Education, organized by the IEEE in Istanbul, 3-5 April 2014.
The paper “Gender in Engineering Education - Two European projects: from understanding to acting” discusses the results of HELENA and GenderTIME projects. In the presentation, André Béraud succeeded to explain the coherent link between "attracting more women to the engineering studies by the interdisciplinary curricula" and "improvement of the gender equality in the careers of the academic staff".
The 30 minutes presentation was an opportunity for an intense exchange of ideas and perspectives between researchers. EDUCON Conference program is available here.
The EDUCON 2014 brought together around 300 persons (54 different nationalities).
